We welcome you to join us on Sunday, May 12 for 90-minute patio reservations for up to 8 people. We have very limited space for larger groups; please contact events@sarahsvineyard.com.

Our patio area is open for wine tasting, as well as wine purchases by the bottle or glass. We welcome you to bring a picnic to enjoy with the wines - including our new 2023 Vin Gris Rosé of Pinot Noir!

Sarah's Vineyard Viticulture Series: Canopy Management

Balancing the vine through pruning methods, cane selection, and disease prevention.

Friday, May 17th from 11:30 - 1:30 pm

The second session will be held Friday, May 17th from 11:30am-1:30pm with the discussion focus on early canopy management through suckering and shoot removal. When done carefully, shoot thinning will help each vine produce canes/shoots of uniform length and vigor. Our goal is to produce a crop of uniform ripeness giving each shoot its own space in the canopy. Doing so will reduce fruit- crowding and expose the fruit up to adequate air circulation and sun which in turn reduce mildew, rot, and insect pressure. 

We will begin with a short walk through the vineyard to a block that is being pruned by our vineyard crew for an open discussion. Guests will have an opportunity for hands-on pruning time with our vines. Following pruning we will gather to celebrate a job well done with a delicious picnic by Chef Sergio paired with Sarah's Vineyard Estate wines.

Vineyard Grower Frances Calderon and Winemaker Jonathan Houston will answer all your vineyard and winemaking questions.

Each series will include a picnic lunch and a paired wine tasting. We look forward to exploring the vineyard with you!

Picnic Menu

-spring green salad: mixed greens, seasonal charred veggies, sunflower and pumpkin seeds, crouton crumbles, basil lemon vinaigrette

-fruit salad: oranges, cucumbers, jicama, pineapple, red onions, cilantro, spiced citrus marinade

-spring tartine: sourdough bread, parsnip and mascarpone spread, grilled asparagus, roasted beets, pickled red onions, herbs *Option to add prosciutto - notify when reserving

-mini chocolate cakes with Mexican chocolate cream and strawberries

This experience is for 21 and over only. No dogs. No exceptions. Please wear comfortable closed-toed shoes and clothing appropriate for walking in the vineyard.

Albariño & Oysters

Sunday, June 2

Save the date! We are very excited to share our new 2023 Albariño release with you.

Join us for a tasting or a bottle of wine while you enjoy live music by Asher Stern and local food available for purchase. Chef Gonzo will be here preparing tacos and Parker Presents will have his oyster bar set up! We will have plenty of chilled Albariño and Brut Sparkling wines available - the perfect complements to freshly shucked oysters!
