On the nose, look for notes of fennel and sage among the plum and cherry aromas. On the palate, plum, cherry, and spice rack flavors combine with a bit of berry, leather, smoke, and beefy backbone notes from the Cabernet Sauvignon. The mouthfeel is dense and the tannins are elegant while still young and fresh; the finish is long and lively.
