The 2014 Madonne is our effort to emulate the traditional wines of the southern Rhone Valley. It is a marriage of California soils and climate to a classicly - styled blend of estate grown, Rhone red varietals. It displays raspberry, tea leaf, and violet components with fragrant notes of pepper, oregano, and thyme, with leather and spice on the finish.
A blend of 69% Grenache, 16% Syrah, 12% Mourvedre, 2% Carignan, and 1% Counoise.
